Terms of Use

Last updated: June 12, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MedTimer mobile application and related services ("MedTimer", the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Medical disclaimer — please read

MedTimer is a personal reminder and organization tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reminders are delivered on a best-effort basis and can be affected by your device settings, connectivity, battery, or operating-system limits. Do not rely on MedTimer as your sole method of managing medication. Always follow the guidance of your physician or pharmacist, and never change how you take a medication based on the App alone. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be at least 13 years old to use MedTimer.

3. Family care circle

MedTimer lets you invite family members or caregivers to view your medication status and check-ins, and to receive alerts. Only invite people you trust, and only share access you are comfortable with. You can remove a member at any time. You are responsible for the invitations you send and the access you grant.

4. Subscriptions and payments

MedTimer offers an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks premium features. The following apply to purchases made through the Apple App Store:

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the service, reverse-engineering it, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

MedTimer and its content, design, and trademarks are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the App for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any missed dose, health outcome, or loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

8. Termination

You may stop using MedTimer and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
